We would like to make you aware of upcoming changes to waste compliance requirements, with the introduction of the Digital Waste Tracking (DWT) system and associated DEFRA regulations, which come into effect on 1 October.

To ensure compliance with these new requirements, we will need to collect and verify additional information before we can accept any waste.

Information Required

All customers will be required to provide:

✅ A valid and current Waste Carrier's Licence
✅ The full address where the waste was produced
✅ Waste producer details
✅ Accurate waste descriptions and classifications
✅ Any other information required under the Digital Waste Tracking regulations

What This Means for You

Please ensure that your records are up to date and that all required information is supplied when arranging collections or delivering waste to our facilities.

The new regulations are designed to improve waste traceability and accountability across the industry, making the provision of accurate information a legal requirement.

Important Notice

From 1 October, if the required information is not provided, we will be unable to accept, collect, receive, or process your waste until all compliance requirements have been met.

We therefore encourage all customers to review their current documentation and ensure that:

• Waste Carrier's Licences are valid and up to date.
• The address where the waste was produced is available for every waste movement.
• All Digital Waste Tracking information can be provided accurately and in full.
